About Jason Lynn

My favorite quote is "Never forget who you wanted to be." I forgot. Art school was tough. Impostor syndrome and incredible classmates made me doubt my own ability. This combined with the fact that society (and sometimes family) like to think of arts as a hobby I was crushed and thought that I needed to change my career path. After a decade of "real" work in the corporate and industrial manufacturing industry I was sick of it. Now married with a family, my wife knew I was unhappy. She took on the responsibility of finances and I was able to quit my job to pursue what I knew I should, something creative. In the years between school and work a passion was ignited for technology and programming. I was able to join a software development bootcamp while also having the opportunity to be a stay-at-home dad. After graduating from the bootcamp I was able to gather some freelance work and continue networking with local businesses. This eventually led to me landing a position that combines all of my experience with a great group of people. Don't forget what you always wanted to be. It's never too late to make a change. Your experience and personality are an asset. Just do it!
