About Jason Malterud
As Assistant Chief with over 19 years at the Longmont Department of Public Safety, I oversee patrol and traffic units, focusing on operational excellence, officer development, and public safety. My expertise spans leadership, conflict management, and fostering community trust, enabling our team to deliver impactful results aligned with the organization's mission. Through collaboration and strategic planning, we emphasize diversity, teamwork, and service excellence. Complementing my public safety role, my 12+ years as a small business owner sharpened my problem-solving, customer service, and project management skills.
