About Jason McGuirk

Mr. Jason McGuirk is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS) with 13 years of professional experience in wetland delineation, permitting, fisheries and wildlife biological surveys, stream assessments and classification in numerous states including Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Utah, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Kansas, Maryland, Georgia, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Alaska. Mr. McGuirk has conducted numerous wetland delineations, stream evaluations as well as conducted and produced habitat assessments, and post monitoring impact statements and assessments, rare and endangered species survey on over miles of proposed natural gas and water pipelines, and hundreds of proposed well pad sites. He has also conducted wetland and stream delineations on over acres of proposed solar and wind renewable energy sites. He has extensive knowledge in watercourse classification and assessment including the Rosgen method. In particular attention of his has been focused on fisheries habitat and macro-invertebrate work, with over 300 miles of stream classifications in Alaska. Mr. McGuirk’s educational background is in Fisheries and Aquaculture with a minor focus in Marine Biology and Wildlife management.
