About Jason Meidl

I am a owner/operator of Creston Valley Funeral Services and Kootenay Lake Crematorium in British Columbia. I also serve as the Chief Operating Officer with Bridgeway Funeral Services, focusing on acquisitions, business growth, and operational improvement in the funeral profession.With over ten years as a licensed funeral director, I have experience working with the coroner’s service and leading local teams. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the BC Funeral Association, representing funeral professionals across the province and supporting education, advocacy, and ethical standards in the profession.I’m the Treasurer for the Creston Football Club, supporting youth soccer in the community. I’m also a regular columnist for the Creston Valley Advance, writing the “Ask Your Funeral Director” column. In the past, I served as President and board member of the Creston Museum.Outside of work, I enjoy trail running and spending time with my wife and daughters. I’m committed to local business, community outreach, and building connections across the region.
