About Jason Molgren
I started drafting and pulling permits for small remodels while in school, and had no guidance, so it was trial by fire from the start. After i graduated, I was brought on as a drafter at John Jensen Architect in Solana Beach, CA. I have worked for Jensen since, and am now a project manager, designing custom residential projects primarily around San Diego, but also in other parts of the state. I have been working on my own projects during the last few years, and have designed, permitted, and seen construction of projects across San Diego, and even designed a house outside of Austin, TX. My latest project is a design/build project of a house that I own and will be selling upon completion. I began designing the remodel/addition in 2017, and am the builder as well. We are almost complete, and the process has been an invaluable learning experience, and the most important takeaway is that I want to be involved in projects from start to finish as designer AND builder.
