About Jason Munger

I am a seasoned software engineer that has taken on a management role for the last few years. I spent many years as a lead, senior software engineer. I currently oversee a Production Portal that acts as the hub of data processing for the business. This platform consists of a large set of web services communicating with over SQL databases. I integrate with several other software platforms and spend a lot of time communicating with stakeholders defining and refining requirements to produce the best product possible. I am a hands-on manager that works tirelessly to insure reliability and productivity for our business. I frequently dive into production issues and provide solutions to the most difficult problems. My most prominent skills include all aspects of SQL Server, Windows Servers, IIS, C#, WPF, WCF, MVC, REST API, load balancer Server Farms, DevOps pipeline development, Azure development and blade management. I use Azure DevOps and Scrum methodology for planning and managing my team. I am always available. I received the Osmose Core Values award in 2016. I am CPR and first aid certified. I coordinate certification of others in the office, inspect and maintain our AED, fire extinguishers and first aid supplies. I serve on the committee that organizes employee events at Osmose and participate in executing these events.
