About Jason Murrell

With three decades in startups, strategy, cyber security & PR, I help organisations cut through complexity and build real capability. I cofounded Murfin Group, where we work with cyber firms to sharpen their story, win influence and grow. Whether you’re a scale up looking for traction or an established player tackling tough policy and market shifts, we give you clarity, networks and momentum. I chair the Dynamic Standards International (SMB1001) steering committee, driving practical, affordable security standards that SMEs can actually use. I’m also an Entrepreneur in Residence at Fusion Growth Labs, helping founders stress test ideas and turn them into investable, scalable businesses. Until mid 2025 I served as Chair of the Australian Cyber Network, where I worked across government, industry and academia to push for a more secure digital economy. That experience means I know how to align commercial outcomes with national strategy and avoid the traps that stall progress.
