About Jason Neumark

Jason is a partner in the Real Estate Group. Jason believes that responsiveness, efficiency, strong drafting skills and a firm but practical negotiating style are all important parts of his commitment to client service. During his 20+ years of practice, Jason has developed extensive finance experience, including both borrower and lender representation on senior, mezzanine and construction loans of all types. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans have become a specialty of Jason’s. He also has experience with loan workouts and restructurings, as well as other distressed real estate transactions. Jason also has considerable experience with acquisitions and sales of large shopping centers, multifamily apartment projects, hotels and other commercial properties. Jason also represents landlords and tenants in office, retail and industrial leases and subleases. Jason has represented many national institutional clients as well as local entrepreneurs. No matter the experience level or other unique characteristics of the client, Jason works to provide service that meets each client’s particular needs. Jason has been awarded Illinois Super Lawyers: Rising Star in 2008, 2009, and 2010. He has also been awarded Illinois Super Lawyers in 2012, 2013, and 2018.
