Jason is a highly skilled KWM trained lawyer with over 20 years' legal experience, including 5 years as general counsel at an ASX200 company. He is flexible and adaptable with an ability to work across all levels of an organisation, including as a leader and business unit lawyer. He has managed the legal and company secretarial functions for listed companies, for both established and 'greenfields' roles. He has experience in leading and managing small legal and company secretarial teams. Extensive senior level leadership experience, having been a member of the executive leadership team of an ASX200 company for over four years. He has a proven track-record of leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams and managing large scale projects, corporate and financing transactions, complex disputes and international transactions. He is able to build positive and high performing legal and project teams. Legal experience spans a wide range of areas – corporate (M&A), joint ventures, contracts, projects, IP, disputes. He has substantial experience in private and public corporate transactions, including negotiation with foreign governments. Jason's 'front end' contracting and negotiation skills have been honed with substantial 'back-end' experience in commercial litigation, including resolution of major disputes with joint venture partners and competitors in the Federal Court and Supreme Court (Queensland).
