My background covers over 20 years of surveying on rural, residential and commercial properties. I have trained and mentored five co-workers to become Professional Land Surveyors. I have managed a surveying department of 8-10 office and field staff with a $500K budget. I have setup new surveying departments at multiple offices. I strive to deliver quality land surveying projects on time and within budget. I handle all aspects of land surveying projects from inception to deliverable. I am able to work both independently and as part of a team. I am currently licensed to practice Land Surveying in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, South Dakota and Oklahoma.Responsibilities:• Meet with prospective clients to discuss potential survey work and prepare cost estimates.• Prepare proposals for land surveying services.• Operate and maintain complex and highly technical surveying equipment.• Perform surveying fieldwork and collect data.• Prepare exhibits, plats, surveys and reports using AutoCAD Civil 3D.• Experienced utilizing Civil Map 3D for drafting and ESRI ArcGIS for GIS mapping.• Discuss survey and title issues with attorneys on commercial projects.• Develop and maintain GIS maps and mobile maps.• Perform boundary calculations, stakeout calculations and prepare legal descriptions.• Instruct others in utilizing GPS and Robotic surveying equipment. • Perform records research at Assessor’s Office, Recorder of Deeds and State Repository.• Analyze plats, maps, surveys, title commitments and deeds.• Sign and seal surveys, plats and descriptions.• Schedule land surveying fieldwork.• Management and storage of survey field data, photos and field notes.• Educate clients, other industry professionals and general public about land surveying.• Accountable for technical aspects of projects and for completion of project tasks.
