About Jason Pickern

After nearly two decades of experience in the restauration industry, during which I acquired a diverse range of skills including waiting tables, working as a chef, managing operations, and ultimately owning my own restaurant, I realized in 2009 that it was time for a significant transformation in my career path. At the age of 38, I made the decision to return to school and successfully obtained my baccalaureate in computer science through an accelerated program, completing my studies in less than one year. In 2010, I joined oXya as a monitoring technician, marking the beginning of my journey in the IT sector. By 2015, I was transferred to Montreal, Canada, where I took on the new role of technical coordinator. Over the years, I gradually advanced within the company, transitioning to the position of SAP administrator. As of 2022, I am proud to serve as a service delivery manager. In my current role, I have chosen to adopt a unique approach to team management, leveraging the valuable insights and experiences I gained from my time in the restauration industry. This background serves as a solid foundation for fostering collaboration within my team and effectively delegating the various challenging tasks necessary to meet our clients' needs with efficiency and adherence to the established timelines.
