About Jason Plotkin

Jason’s passion for strategic creative thinking while working with dynamic personalities is evident based on the education and experience he has gained throughout the course of his career. Jason has 10+ years managing successful projects and 6+ years in both the Talent Management, Corporate Operations, and Human Resources fields and 4+ years managing elite sales teams comprised of agents, trainers, coaches and senior managers. Jason has a BA in English from CSUSB and an MBA from CBU. He also holds certifications from Cal Poly Pomona and University of California, Riverside. After several years as a project manager, Jason decided to transition his skills and knowledge away from the design and development of multimillion dollar design and construction projects to the most valuable resource a company has: it’s People. Now he helps to mange the operations and sales force for southern California’s leading funeral homes - specifically Precoa’s premier partner Forest Lawn. Jason is currently is Precoa’s Senior Director in Southern California. Precoa delivers Marketing and sales support to the preneed funeral insurance industry. Jason is an avid reader and trail runner (sometimes does both at the same time – thank you Audible.com). Jason completed his third marathon last year while also participating in the Nor Cal Tough Mudder and Silver Falls Trail Half Marathon. You can find him and his wife exploring new Southern California restaurants or attending concerts on the weekend. Family nights with his four kids can consist of spontaneous dance parties or a karaoke showdown. Jason loves connecting with people so feel free to reach out to him and say hi.
