I’m a motivated commerce graduate with a sharp eye for detail and a growing specialisation in global trade, finance, and shipping. Currently advancing my industry knowledge through the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, I combine academic learning with hands-on experience across the maritime and multi-modal logistics sectors. I began my career as a Trainee Marine Surveyor, gaining hands-on experience in seaworthiness assessments, cargo quality assurance, and vessel inspections alongside senior professionals. Progressing to Junior Marine Surveyor, I conducted detailed dry bulk vessel inspections and draught surveys ensuring compliance with client requirements. I supported commercial teams with quotations, contract management, and client negotiations while managing consultancy services such as cargo tallying and hold cleaning. Experienced in coordinating with charterers, ship agents, and terminal operators, I have developed expertise across diverse bulk commodities, port operations, and QHSSE standards, combining technical knowledge with commercial acumen. A subsequent internship with the QHHSE department of a leading maritime and multi-modal logistics provider further broadened my exposure to regional operations across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean. Working across various business units strengthened my understanding of integrated logistics and safety standards. I am authorised to work and live in both the UK and EU, and am open to emigration.
