About Jason Reimer

Musician-> Filmmaker-> Creative Director Experienced creating content for Coca-Cola, Neiman Marcus and Jack Daniels among others as well as creating unique campaigns for Dallas Morning News, Texas Theatre and Oak Cliff Film Festival. A healthy post production backbone continually added upon from concept to delivery, able to touch each component with thoughtful curation for the client. In 2013 he directed the infomercial “FOREVER” for GOOD/BAD Art Collective that was televised nationally on CBS. In 2015 he wrote and directed the short film "THE OBJECT”, followed by “FIGUREHEAD” starring Harry Goaz (Twin Peaks, St, Nick) and Brandy Burre (The Wire) as a fictional interview companion to coincide with the David Lynch television series reboot. At this time he co-founded creative production shingle TALENTED FRIENDS as a hub for the output that now included photography and film production as well as podcasts like STRANGE with journalist Christopher Wynn and Spoke Media. In 2015 he optioned the book “Chitlin Circuit” (Preston Lauterbach) about the history of music in America that is now currently in development as a TV series. In 2020 Talented Friends published the first collection of photography with actor Harry Goaz entitled “BALLROOM HARRY” (Deep Vellum Press). Reimer is also co-founder / partner of the Oak Cliff Film Festival and Aviation Cinemas operators of the Texas Theatre where he’s served as Creative Director since its inception in 2010 and is an owner of the historic property who continues to assist in its renovation and programming.
