About Jason Rickard

Projects are part of who I am. Without a project I am bored, unchallenged, even grumpy. I live for the planning, creation, and ultimately the completion of a project. While there are always challenges along the way, the feeling of satisfaction from accomplishing the seemingly impossible never gets old. I have been PMP certified since 2013 and have spent most of my 20+ year professional career in Information Technology. But I don’t let it define me. I consider myself a smart and creative person who likes to learn. And my projects go beyond my work at the office. I do lots of DIY around the house. Something always needs doing or improving. And then there is my love of Halloween and my passion for fireworks which are major annual projects for me. I love planning and creating something wonderful for my family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy. In fact, my success at backyard firework displays gave me the opportunity to take a step away from IT and work in the fireworks industry. It has been a rush being able to leverage my professional skills with one of my passions. There have plenty of projects for me here too. Even one replacing an aging ERP system with Microsoft Dynamics NAV. While I enjoy my current position, I am always open to new opportunities.
