Throughout my tenure with Murrays Express and Coach Charter Company, I ensured a safe work environment for over 400 staff, operating 199 coaches. Our team achieved developing the work, health, and safety management system for AS/NZS 4801, maintained a lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) of zero for three years and created a robust safety culture. As a Safety Advisor to Randwick City Council in Sydney, I implemented and updated the Occupational Health and Safety program for construction, maintenance, fabrication, mechanics, and 450 outdoor staff (including contractors and volunteers). My former employer, Toll Mining Global Logistics, recruited me to fill the role of Health & Safety Coordinator at a Botany, where I assessed the safety environment, evaluated risk management practices, implemented health and safety policies, and developed safety training programs. Within 12 months, incident rates were slashed by 80%. Following this success, I was promoted to Mining Safety Manager, where I had the opportunity to work with our client Fortescue Mining to develop safer work environments in the iron ore mining sector My earlier career experience includes working for manufacturers, such as Unilever and Kellogg’s, where I contributed significantly to the development of safe work environments.
