About Jason Schroeder

I have a strong educational background and excel in working with a variety of people through effective communication, quality instruction, my endless enthusiasm for the benefits of exercise, and my strong desire to help others reach and exceed their health and fitness goals. In my previous employment at Delta College where I was a science and math tutor, my approachable demeanor and ability to adapt my instructional style to each clients’ needs resulted in building a successful and lasting rapport which in turn resulted in many returning clients. In addition, I also worked as a teaching assistant at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago for numerous courses while pursuing my Master of Fine Arts degree. In this role, my teaching responsibilities expanded to include an active role in demonstrating new techniques, procedures, and equipment, as well as designing project assignments and course content. I live a fitness-oriented lifestyle and I train myself daily with aerobic activities, resistance training, bodyweight exercise, stretching, and/or yoga. My friends and family perceive me as a fitness expert, and I enjoy advising them concerning their health and exercise regimens. I have enjoyed volunteering my skills at health fairs (e.g. Delta College), and participating in fitness race events such as Relay For Life. I am also a visual artist, art instructor, and I work free-lance as a model. I make work using drawing, painting, photography, and various forms of printmaking. I am reliable, dependable, and take great pride in my performance as a professional. I am committed to working hard to turn the challenges I accept into successes. In addition, I am an energetic team player that strives to grow daily: as a professional, a brand representative, and as an active team member to the further success and growth of the organization I represent.
