About Jason Sergent

Accomplished leader, management consultant, and entrepreneur with over twenty-five years of business management and system safety engineering experience focused on the public transit, aerospace, autonomous vehicle and petrochemical industries. As co-founder of ADS System Safety Consulting, LLC (ADS), Mr. Sergent grew ADS into the largest niche consulting firm in the U.S. public transportation sector focused on system safety, security and fire/life safety engineering. As Chief Operating Officer, he created work processes and procedures to effectively manage the firm's operations and its continual year after year growth in clients, staff, revenues and profits. He led the firm's bid development and marketing initiatives, and ensured contract compliance, product and service quality, and client satisfaction. Over the course of his 25+ year career, he has helped both large and small public and private sector organizations with identifying, analyzing, and controlling risks to improve safety and operational efficiency, lower costs, and ensure long term resiliency. He has led and grown diverse teams to deliver sustainable results to clients that have included the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Federal Railroad Administration, the nation's largest public transit agencies, various State Departments of Transportation, and numerous commercial clients.
