I am a Contracting Officer in the Launch Services Program at NASA's Kennedy Space Center with extensive experience in contracting for the federal government. As a Senior Contract Specialist, I work in conjunction with Procurement management and Launch Services Program management personnel and have been assigned procurements of significant size and complexity. I have 15 years of experience in procuring space flight hardware, R&D, and Launch Services. I am routinely relied upon as a subject matter expert for this contract and for other procurement actions/concepts. I aide in interpretation of contract provisions for contractors and for officials of the agency and provides appropriate advice and guidance. Accomplishments: • Awarded procurements ranging up to $300M within lead-time standards • Successfully managed the Venture-Class Acquisition of Dedicated and Rideshare (VADR) Launch Services IDIQ serving as the lead procurement representative and voting member; a $300M IDIQ contract with 16 offerors and 13 awarded contracts. I received a KSC Certificate of Commendation and an Early Career Achievement Medal for my efforts managing this project of significant scope and complexity. • I have been rated Distinguished in the last 4 performance periods and at least fully successful in all other performance periods I have been with NASA. I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development and completed an MBA, MSL, and two Master's certificates, one in executive leadership and the other in quality management with a GPA of 3.6. My education gives me the direct knowledge and educational experience necessary to be a true asset in many fields.
