With 29 years of leadership experience in Higher Education, Including the last seven years in Data, Analytics, and Institutional Research, Jason has worked in enrollment management, finance and administration, academic affairs, alumni relations, and student services capacities. He believes in the transformational power of higher education data to improve student and institutional outcomes at the Department, Division, and Institutional levels. Specialties: Helping institutions transform data landscapes, future-proofing approaches to work, examining analytical tools and helping to frame data science requirements. Leading and managing staff, budget, graphic design, finance and event planning within higher education. Ultimately, Jason is passionate about connecting data to decision making and helping institutions of higher education bridge the gap between student and alumni status for long-term alumni relations and fundraising success. Jason is a published author on future-proofing Higher Education and Institutional Research and a frequent keynote speaker/facilitator. Jason has chaired numerous international alumni relations conferences for the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Jason also has experience in reaffirmation processes, institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, and supporting institutional accreditation within the SACSCOC region. Jason has worked at numerous institutions of Higher Education across the country and earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education with a concentration in advancement from the University of North Texas, a Master's degree in Education from the University of Vermont in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Ramapo College of NJ in Environmental Studies. Most recently, Jason served as co-editor for a Wiley Press New Directions in Institutional Research journal on the changing nature of institutional research. Jason was also a contributing author on the 2019 Statement on Analytics “Analytics Can Save Higher Education. Really.” Jointly produced by EDUCAUSE, AIR, & NACUBO.
