Board Certified Behavior Analyst since March 2018. 12 years of total teaching experience; 4 years leading special education classrooms for students with varying needs, including moderate to severe ASD and other learning disabilities; 4 years delivering early intervention ABA and special instruction services to families with children with developmental disabilities and supervising early intervention clinicians in their work with families. Currently supervising home- and clinic-based ABA programs for families with children with ASD, ranging in needs from moderate to severe and ages from 4 to 13 years old. High caliber oral and written communication abilities; effective organization and time management skills; extensive experience with collaborative problem solving as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Certified volunteer leader with the Sierra Club’s Inspiring Connections Outdoors program since 2015, bringing urban youth into contact with nature to provide young people with outdoor recreational opportunities, leadership training, positive group experiences and environmental education, and promoting a love and appreciation of nature and the outdoors.
