I’ve spent over 13 years working in land management, handling everything from detailed title work to farmouts, leasing, and regulatory hearings. Since 2015, I’ve been with Gulf Exploration, LLC, leading projects across the SCOOP, STACK, Arkoma, and Anadarko basins.From 2016 to 2019, I served as Land Manager at a related company, Gulf Oil & Gas, LLC, before it was absorbed by Gulf Exploration. I’ve continued leading land efforts ever since — managing brokers, training new staff, working closely with engineers and attorneys, and overseeing leasing and title on active development programs.Some of my strengths and impacts include:Title Work & Ownership Resolution Identified a title defect in an HBP unit in 2023, leading to a strategic acreage acquisition in 2024. Led title efforts with near-zero error rates for 10+ years, including complex HBP, mineral, and leasehold ownership projects. Delivered curative work and ownership reports across OK, TX, KS, and NM, including the Mississippian Lime.Leasing, Negotiations & Regulatory Projects Negotiated a lease on several hundred acres in the SCOOP in 2020 to resolve a spacing protest. Worked farmouts and lease agreements in the Arkoma and SCOOP plays in 2023 to settle protested spacing and pooling cases. Managed a 25-well divestiture in 2021 to reduce plugging liability and clean up the portfolio.Team Oversight & Project Management Helped close an acquisition of 30+ SCOOP wells — identified the opportunity in 2020 and worked with engineering, land, and legal through 2023. Managed title, leasing, and permitting projects across multiple plays while coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel.
