Initially exposed to the motor repair industry from the perspective of the repairer, this period included working directly on clients vehicles progressing to workshop supervision. Further duties included the ordering of parts to facilitate efficient work flow, overseeing OH & S implementation and compliance and quoting of damaged vehicles to achieve a profitable outcome which additionally included negotiating directly with the Insurance companies. Additional tasks included liaising with clients directly, addressing their concerns and providing amicable outcomes for all parties concerned. Joined IAG as a Motor Assessor delivering consistent positive outcomes for both the employer and the customer, this entailed a focus on ensuring the end repair was of a high quality and included the capturing of this data for any future reference. Moved on to spend time as a Motor Field Auditor and Property Assessor and have since returned due to internal restructuring as a Motor Assessor. Spent approximately one year as a Motor Field Auditor for IAG to ensure full compliance of staff to internal and external expectations while also identifying areas of improvement both process and cost driven. Joined the Property Assessor team in IAG for approximately five years which provided valuable insights into a customers needs and expectations during times of extreme stress. A very efficient team well versed in dealing with catastrophes, this led to attendances in several natural disaster affected areas. The knowledge and experiences gained from attending these situations have provided me with the ability to exercise higher levels of empathy within all facets of life.
