About Jason Watson

I am a highly motivated individual with over 26 years of Oil & Gas Production experience coupled with a Mechanical trade background (Fitter & Machinist with the RAN) giving me an extensive background and rich mix of experience in the Onshore and Offshore production, engineering and coordination, budget management and supervision, HAZOP and risk mitigation, staff/contractor management and supervision, maintenance planning and quality control. I have spent all my time in the Oil and Gas Industry, operating and managing upstream production facilities at Longford Gas Plants and Crude Stabilisation Plant and fixed Oil & Gas production facilities in the waters off the Australian coastline. My strong communication skills, approachability and excellent work ethic allow me to work co-operatively and efficiently with my team and stakeholders. I am friendly, trustworthy and easy going whilst being able to motivate and co-ordinate others. I use my resourcefulness and initiative to set priorities and goals which maximises productivity, both in a team environment and whilst working independently. Proven background in successfully managing major Production projects and promoting enthused teams to safely and effectively manage facility uptime through supported technical and analytical expertise.
