About Jason Weaver

From 27+ years of nonprofit development and marketing experience, I have developed into a gift planning specialist. My two greatest areas of expertise are planned giving marketing and moves management + annual giving through database marketing and direct response. To make responsible decisions that often require substantial financial investments, I measure and correlate fundraising activities to fundraising results.Some activities and successes I can accurately quantify and report include:(1) I formulated dynamic gift strings that always generated an average gift at least 20% higher than static gift strings and 30% higher than a blank ask.(2) I lowered direct mail cost to raise a dollar from $.29 to $.14 (almost 52% decrease).(3) I improved new donor acquisition rate from.75% to 1.25%(a 50% increase).(4) I have completed more than unique in-person meetings + 7,400 phone conversations with highest-priority major and planned gift prospects and donors.(5) I solicited and closed a $1 million bequest expectancy and engaged in donor stewardship for 7 years.
