I am a professional Public Relations/Communications Manager/Media Strategist. I specialize in P.R, Marketing, Journalism, Crisis Communications, Event Planning, Social Media Management, and Executive Speechwriting. I've worked at the Editor of Adams Street Publishing, overseeing the production of four publications (three monthly, one weekly) and mentoring a staff of five. During my tenure with Adams Street Publishing, I received two Crystal Awards from the Society of Women in Communications for Best Feature and Best Series, along with a Touchstone Award for Best News Feature from the Press Club of Toledo. I've also been the Director of Public Relations for Psychopathic Records, a multimillion-dollar record label and music brand in the Detroit area. During my time, I oversaw all media relations/social media management/marketing plans, as well as organizing several events with upwards of people in attendance. Additionally, I've worked as the Public Information Officer for the City of Toledo, serving at the pleasure of former Mayor Carty Finkbeiner, as well as Legislative Aide to former Mayor of Dayton, Gary D. Leitzell. From newsrooms to the Mayor's Office to music stages, I've blazed a strong professional trail over the course of my storied career. And I'm just getting started!
