About Jason Wilde

As a client focused and compassionate Addiction and Treatment counselor and Mental Health Counseling specialist, with experience in case management, sensitivity to diversity, counseling, skills development behavior management and community development along with aboriginal cultural and spiritual teachings and values. I am eager to leverage my blend of behavior management, addictions intervention and counseling treatment, with my community and aboriginal outreach talents, to drive the positive recovery and social reintegration of inmate/addict/vulnerable population participants. As my resume shows, my education and experiences provides me with insights into the operations of at risk community centres. Specifically, in my placements across Ontario, I worked diligently to earn the trust and respect of youth, women and adults along with other ethnic groups including the aboriginal population, continuously seeking opportunities to steer them in the right direction by fostering a welcoming, positive environment. This has been the catalyst for helping me identify with their needs to initiate positive change with individuals and within communities.
