About Jason Willis

I am currently the Chief Operating Officer at Taylor Leibow LLP where I manage the internal operations of the firm and provide leadership to the Administration department. I was the owner/operator of Jason Willis Consulting providing accounting and business consulting to various Canadian & US businesses from October 2014 to October 2022. I was Director of Operations at Taylor Leibow LLP Accountants and Advisors for over 12 years. I graduated from the University of South Africa with a Bachelor of Accounting Science. After living and working in the UK for a few years I moved to Canada. I joined Taylor Leibow in August 2002 and decided to pursue the Certified Management Accountant designation which I obtained in 2006. Having worked as a staff accountant for a CA firm in South Africa and the UK, and in a senior management role in a Canadian regional public accounting firm, I have gained broad experience in all aspects of managing professional service firms. I am passionate about leadership, business consulting and giving back to the community. I served as President on the board for the Canadian Chapter of the Association for Accounting Administration for six years. I served as a deacon board member of my local church for six years and have also served in various lead ministry positions from 2014 to 2022. I am passionate about helping those in desperate need and have been in a leadership role with a team reaching out to Syrian, Iranian and Afghan Refugees in Turkey.
