About Jason Win

I am eager to apply my engineering skills and knowledge to innovative and exciting projects that will create economic, environmental, and social benefits. I have completed my Master of Professional Engineering at the University of Western Australia, specialised in civil engineering, and I have a strong academic background in engineering science at both UWA and Curtin University.I have gained valuable experience in civil and geotechnical engineering through my previous roles as a Graduate Civil Engineer at JDSi Consulting Engineers and a Research Scholar at Fugro, where I participated in various design, analysis, testing, and research tasks. I have also demonstrated my leadership, entrepreneurial, and client relationship skills by successfully operating a medium-sized company in Myanmar and managing Airbnb properties, receiving multiple 5-star feedbacks and a 'super host' award in 2020. Additionally, I am bilingual, fluent in English and Burmese, and I bring 'diverse thinking' to the industry. I am passionate about creating positive changes in the community through my involvement in various community services, and I have a high fitness level, enjoying rock climbing, cycling, running, and bodybuilding. I am looking forward to collaborating with and learning from other engineering professionals, and contributing to the growth and success of BHP.
