About Jason Wise

My career path is varied, but one fact has always remained the same, a goal to make the world a little bit of a better place. I currently work as an outdoor environmental educator, teaching folks of all ages about nature, science, art, and environmental advocacy. This work comes in many forms:*Social media content creator *Keynote speaker *Community organizer *Non-profit collaborator *Online trainer I focus on topics on the intersection of ecology and humanity including:*Urban ecological history *Queer ecology & decolonial botany *Climate change *Ecosystem diversity *Invasive and native plants Through all this I put my Masters in Public Policy (specializing in environmental advocacy) to work, connecting the lessons of nature to both big and small environmental issues and what we can do about them personally and politically.
