Technical Investigator with strong program management sensitivity and all-round provider of improvement proposals. Excellent operational results due to my drive to get things done and arrange prerequisites. Generalist lateral and linear analytic thinker. Likes to make syntheses of the knowledge of varying disciplines. Often out-of-the-box ideas. In my free time I am a Gliding instructor: patient, rational, quick-witted, responsible, enjoying tuition and elaborating matters to achieve improvements. I also enjoy gliding competitions where you are challenged at a higher level. I am my own best competitor, winning is a goal but not at all cost; safe and enjoyable flights prevail. Being risk limiting & safety oriented, I also contribute to the gliding club Safety Management System (EASA) identifying safety risks and investigating air incidents which is in-line with part of my current working domain. I have a strong drive to make robust improvements with safety as prime. Gentle & light-hearted soul, honest, incorruptible, not afraid to tell people things they don't like hearing but do need to know, communicative, persevering yet respectful and kind.
