About Jasper Westerink

As CEO of Philips Japan I have the honor of leading the Philips team responsible for improving people's health and enabling better outcomes across the health continuum - from healthy living and prevention, to diagnosis, treatment and e-home care. I have been at Philips for over 20 years, holding various high-level positions in key markets including Africa, Southeast Asia, and Europe. My past experiences provide me with crucial insights in both developing and mature markets and the importance of building strong and long lasting relationships with stakeholders and partners. Capitalizing on my strong background in Business Management, Sales, Business Integration & Business Disentanglement and HRM, I have established a proven track record of successful business transformations, while simultaneously driving top and bottom-line improvements. I have a Master Degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Management and Marketing from the University of Tilburg in the Netherlands. I’ve also received qualifications from Harvard Business School, the University of Chicago School of Business and North-Western University – Kellogg School of Management. I am a decisive, action oriented and results-driven professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial business environment. I especially enjoy navigating all aspects of complex business settings and I am driven by new challenges and the desire to be successful, irrespective of the undertaking.
