Whether in public service, healthcare, or community organizations, I bring a unique combination of technical skills, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to social equity. Currently, I serve as the Director at the Nelson & District Women’s Centre and Chair of the West Kootenay Local Immigration Partnership (WKLIP), where I drive comprehensive policies to support marginalized groups, including Indigenous, immigrant, and gender-diverse communities. My work is rooted in collaboration and cultural safety, ensuring that the evolving needs of these communities are met with compassion and inclusivity. I am passionate about using data-driven strategies to create effective, sustainable solutions. With certifications in Business Intelligence (Google) and Power BI, alongside advanced training in technical communication from UBC, I have developed a strong foundation in data analysis, performance metrics, and agile project management. My background also includes leading public health initiatives as a Dental Surgeon in rural India, organizing free dental camps, and promoting healthcare accessibility in underserved communities.
