I am a proactive, dynamic manager in construction who works efficiently and effectively to complete projects on time, within budget and whilst striving to achieve the excellent Health and Safety standards. Having worked in construction for 15 years I have grown a vast skill set, knowledge, experience and maintained good working relationships with UK's leading main contractors.This is shown by my progression, achievements and repeat business with confident clients. I work very well independently and have a proven record of managing various site based teams, as well as experience in mentoring and training. I consistently deliver good quality projects which meet the clients expectations. I have good knowledge of the commercial aspect of construction projects, delivered a wide range of construction contracts and have been involved in procurement, dispute resolution and contract administration. Overall management and responsibility of site supervisors and operatives on site for the painting and finishing side of the company. Directing supervisors ensuring standards of work are met and productivity is kept to programme. Creating project programmes and schedules to meet deadlines. Resourcing and co-ordinating labour. Ordering and keeping records of materials. Attendance at site meetings. Producing RAMS and ensuring all sites are working and adhering to written procedures. Ensuring all instructions for additional works are received formally before commencement. Overseeing the completion of daywork sheets and that they are completed correctly ahead of authorising for payment. Overseeing the preparation of operative's weekly timesheets, authorisation and passing to QS department for processing with payroll. Providing weekly status reports to Senior peers. Experience and knowledge of managing multiple commercial, residential, leisure and hospitality, retail and education painting contracts. Managing site based painters both PAYE and LOSC. Knowledge and implementing RAMS to ensure good safety ethos on site. Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
