About Jassem Alsayed

I am an economic policy professional currently serving as Director of the Macroeconomic Research Department at Qatar Central Bank. With over 8 years of experience in public finance, macroeconomic analysis, and policy design, I contribute to shaping research frameworks that support national priorities and financial stability. Previously, I led the Economic Analysis Section at the Central Bank and the Financial Statistics Division at the Ministry of Finance, where I was responsible for producing key indicators and guiding evidence-based fiscal strategies. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Qatar University, and I’ve obtained certifications in international financial reporting and fiscal policy management. In parallel with my public sector work, I am also the co-founder of Jassem and Khalid Accounting & Auditing, where I support SMEs in achieving financial transparency and regulatory compliance. I am passionate about bridging macro-level policy with ground-level financial practice, with a growing interest in leveraging AI-driven research tools to enhance economic decision-making.
