About Jasvinder Singh

I am a professor at UAB and a staff physician at VA, where I have been conducting clinical and translational research, providing patient care, and leading outcomes research in rheumatology for over two decades. I have a master's degree in epidemiology and I am board-certified in rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. My research team and I focus on patient-reported outcomes, comparative harms of biologics, and novel applications of approved products for rheumatic diseases. We have secured federal and industry funding, published over 550 peer-reviewed papers and more than 30 editorials, and established international collaborations and partnerships. I have also served as a key opinion leader and advisor for clinical trials, trial design, and marketing decisions for drugs in rheumatology. My goal is to advance the field of rheumatology and improve the quality of life and health outcomes of patients with rheumatic diseases.
