Provide engineering advice & support to vendors to manufacture obsolete parts, sub-assemblies, machining of casting parts & fabrication parts for design and tooling related issues. 3) Manage manufacturing and quality process for over 150+ vendors for the procurement of tractor parts. 4) Logistics planning for the parts for FTL and Parts Load including warehouse space utilization. 5) Handled procurement worth 5-5.5 Cr./ Month. 6) Maintaining stock level value as per monthly benchmark, and analysis of fast moving, slow moving, non-moving, dead stock item wise. Resolve quality-related issues such as machining defects, welding defects, dimensional issue and implement adequate preventive & corrective actions. 7) Perform quality checks on the products/material supplied by the suppliers by regular Supplier visits for smoothen supplies, quality improvements & capacity enhancement. Coordinate with the Research & Development (R&D) team for Review design drawing and provide recommendation to R&D team in developing obsolete tractor parts in the technologies of fabrication & casting parts, machining components which require development & amendment of tooling, machining fixtures and pattern etc. 8) Organise and manage project labour and the delivery of materials, plant and equipment Manage In-house Production shops for the procurement of Heavy & light casting tractor parts including Heavy Machine shops HMS, Cylindrical block line CBL, Power train Assembly, Light Machine shops for machining of parts. 9) Review the critical activities, implement different procurement strategies to deliver products/materials on time that had long lead times to meet the deadlines. 10) Handling different MIS through SAP & MS office include Buffer penetration report (BPR/ ASN), Sale order report, Stock levels, Inventory MIS, VOR MIS, BOR MIS, Supplier schedule compliance reports.
