Comprehensive experience of over 18 years in financial risk analysis, commercial contracting, credit rating and project risk assessment, renewable energy strategy and policy advisory, business development, PPA negotiation and structuring. Currently working with Gentari (member of PETRONAS) in commercial contracting vertical and managing large accounts; PPA and SSHA structuring; open access, regulatory and new initiatives feasibility; net-zeto enablers viz renewable energy certificates/carbon credits. Independently sourced, negotiated and contractually closed multiple renewable energy projects for highly rated C&I customers. Worked with KPMG Advisory in the IGH-S&O group and assisted private clients, govt and multilaterals in renewable energy advisory domain. Engagements spread across power procurement cost optimization advisory, bid advisory, RE implementation assistance, regulatory response development, PPA and commercial agreements' development, solar rooftop capacity development of stakeholders, policy advisory, development of EODB frameworks etc. Earlier with Credit Analysis & Research Ltd.(CARE Ratings), Delhi in the Corporate Ratings Group. Sector head for Renewable and Cement sectors, engaged in developing ratings criteria and sector outlooks, risk analysis, inter-firm analysis and ratings consistency. Handled credit rating assignments of diverse sectors, including core focus on infrastructure in general and renewables and cement sectors in particular. Handled assignments of large and mid-size corporates. Managed team of analysts as a Group head. Tracked sector developments and handled relationships with various IPPs/Corporate groups in Power, Cement, road, EPC sectors.
