It’s Always You vs You" I’ve always felt I was meant to do something special. As a child, I didn’t know what that “something” was. I just knew I was different. Growing up in a family with limited means, dreams often had to wait. I watched other kids play with toys I couldn’t afford, go on trips I couldn’t take. I never complained. I knew my parents were doing their best. I just kept that quiet fire burning inside me. I made a promise: one day, I’ll build something of my own. I’ll give my family the life they truly deserve. But life doesn’t always go as planned. I failed high school. That moment shattered me. I was the “brilliant” student,what went wrong, I still don’t know. My father was furious. Relatives laughed. I felt ashamed, lost, and deeply alone. My English was poor, my academics weak, and every job interview ended in rejection. But I didn’t give up. That fire inside me refused to die. I got a job at a small BPO. The pay was low, but it gave me a chance to grow. I worked hard, improved my communication, and kept pushing forward. I had a vision. I took the biggest risk of my life. My family had one small piece of land. I convinced my parents to sell it and send me abroad. That land was everything we had. But they believed in me. I took a loan and moved to Japan in 2020. Life in Japan was overwhelming. But I adapted. I learned Japanese quickly, and my teachers encouraged me to go to university. Again, money stood in the way. Still, I enrolled in a small college, studying foreign language and international business. Finding a job was brutal. I didn’t want to settle for less. I applied to dozens of companies—53 interviews in one month. All rejections. But every “no” made me stronger. Then came interview number 54. I got the job. My dream job—in travel. Today, I work as a Cruise Specialist at Cruise Planet Tokyo. Currently I’m building an expertise in data analytics, business development, and market research. I’ve helped reduce costs, mentored juniors, and delivered results. I’m fluent in Japanese and English, and I thrive in fast-paced environments. I’m now seeking new opportunities in Business or Data Analysis. And I still dream of building my own business one day. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned—it’s this: Never give up. It’s always you vs you.
