Hello! Great to connect with you here. With seven years of experience in social media and digital communications, I recently transitioned from Development Communications with the UN in Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean to Corporate Finance Communications with the Central Bank of Barbados. This shift represents an exciting evolution in my career as I bring a strong foundation in strategic messaging and digital storytelling to the world of central banking. In my previous role at the UN, I managed all social media and web communications, working closely with Senior UN Leadership, including the Resident Coordinator and UN Heads of Agencies on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. I was fortunate to serve as the official photographer for UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed during this year’s UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Global Supply Chain Forum, capturing key moments. Now, as the first-ever Social Media Officer at the Central Bank of Barbados, I’m building a dynamic, multi-channel digital presence that emphasises our role in financial literacy, economic stability, and national development. I work closely with executives and key stakeholders, managing the social media presence and ensuring messaging aligns with our core mission. My work blends a strategic approach to corporate branding with an eye for detail, creating engaging content that resonates across diverse audiences. From analytics to content strategy, I consistently refine our social media approach to strengthen engagement and reach.
