Background

About Javad Rostamian

I’m a Senior Process Engineer with over 15 years of hands-on experience in hydrogen, oil & gas, natural gas processing, and clean energy projects — from cryogenic hydrogen systems to high-temperature ethane cracking. My strength lies in bridging process design (simulation, equipment sizing, control narratives) with operational insight (troubleshooting, start-up, and PSM). I’ve led the process automation of the world’s largest hydrogen fueling facility, and contributed to achieving 100% capacity at a ton/year ethylene plant.Whether developing a new process from scratch or solving complex operational issues, I bring a hands-on, safety-first mindset and a strong track record of results. I’m equally comfortable in front of Aspen HYSYS or in the field during a startup.I’m passionate about working on challenging engineering problems — especially those that drive us closer to a decarbonized future. I’m currently open to remote (willing to do business travel) or SoCal-based roles, consulting opportunities, and collaborations in Oil and gas, hydrogen, DAC, biogas, or traditional energy systems.I also have strong communication and interpersonal skills. I am able to work well independently and as a team member and take the initiative to identify and implement effective root cause solutions. Let’s connect if you’re looking for someone who combines strong technical rigor with real-world plant experience and a drive to innovate.
