About Javier Caravaca

I've been convinced that I want to be an engineer since I was a child, but I've also had many other targets during my life regarding my professional future. I used to watch a TV show called "The Adventures os Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius", which was about a boy who invented and developed all kinds of technological devices. I dreamed of being like Jimmy Neutron. Few years later, I discovered a game that let you design a theme park. I loved this game and decided I wanted to be a "Roller Coaster Engineer"(I was really disappointed when I realized that this specific type of engineering didn't exist as a degree). It wasn't until I became a teenager that I found my real passion: designing. I was really interested in car designing and spent my evenings drawing all types of car bodies. I investigated a bit and saw that I would have to study to become a Mechanical Engineer, so that I could major in Industrial Design. I have plans to continue pursuing this dream, but for the moment I'm focusing on finishing my degree and taking a break from the academic world. That's why I'm moving to Australia for a year, so that I can improve my English and get the opportunity to live new experiences. My internship at CDTI helped me learn about the leading technology sectors, among countries.
