About Javier Esteban

I am a multidisciplinary manager with 10 years of professional experience developed in Business Consultancy and Hospitality, and Engineering as academic background. I have worked on projects related to Pricing, Customer Experience, Segmentation, Market Research, and Business Planning. Now I'm in charge of co-leading the team of Hotel Formentor along with the General Manager. Until now, and within Hospitality, I have put in value the skills and techniques I developed as a consultant. I have oriented my activity into projects by looking for opportunities to optimize processes, to reduce costs, and to generate revenues. For example, I defined a project in one of the hotels in Starwood's Venice complex which produced revenues per year of €120k for a business unit which was producing €300k, i.e, a 40% increase in revenues. My colleagues will say about me that I am someone trustful and honest, someone who comes always with new and creative ideas but after spending a lot of time understanding the business, analyzing the market, and listening to the team before suggesting anything. I can (and I often do) work well alone, but I am at my best collaborating with others.
