I began my federal career with the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) as a GS-7 Detention Enforcement Officer over 25 years ago. Since that time, I have held numerous progressively responsible positions to include, Immigration Enforcement Agent, Supervisory Immigration Enforcement Agent and Acting Detention Operations Supervisor, Deportation Officer and Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer. During my years in Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), I have gained valuable street level and managerial experience in the area of immigration enforcement, and I am fully dedicated to the goals and priorities of the ERO program. I have a proven ability to work well under pressure, overcome obstacles, accomplish any task assigned to me. My knowledge of federal, state and local government operations has developed through training and over 27 years of progressively responsible law enforcement and correctional experience. I possess through demonstration the capacity to overcome complex and difficult situations and possess a can-do attitude. I have established a reputation for honesty and integrity and have represented these qualities to various law enforcement agencies, political entities, and outside stakeholders.
