Background
About Javier Velez
As the son of an engineer and artist, I have been fortunate to be exposed to both points of view growing up. Logic and Creativity. Simplicity and elegance. I have taken this design philosophy with me as I’ve continued my path in architecture. Having a background in art has only enhanced my passion for design. Just like any hand sketch, I believe visualization tools are key to help communicate great design. In my current position, I serve as a visualization lead as well as designer and use these tools to help our clients envision their projects potential. I’ve been lucky to have worked with both public and private clientele in a variety of prototypes. My experience varies from conceptual building development, 3D modeling and visualization services, entitlement preparation, construction documents and construction administration support. As I continue on my path in architecture towards licensure, I hope to continue to study the divine intersection between art, science and architecture.
