About Javin Sim

I hate insurance.”If you knew the 20-year-old me, you’d probably hear me say this all the time.Like how Saul in the Bible was out there persecuting Christians, I was basically persecuting financial consultants after an extremely bad experience.(DM me if you want the full story.)So when I decided to enter financial services, it honestly felt like I betrayed my younger self. And yes, a lot of my friends seriously questioned my decision because they knew how strongly I disliked the industry.Plot twist: insurance saved my family. My younger brother needed emergency brain surgery at 16, and insurance covered almost everything. That moment rewired how I see this industry.Cliché, but I’m not here to “sell”.I grew up in an environment where money always felt scarce. When you live like that, peace of mind becomes priceless, especially when life hits… hard.Today, I’m a young leader at 1 ARK and what we stand for is simple- Competent planning - Up-to-date advice - Loyalty to clients, not commissionsNow the honest part.1 ARK is not for everyone, and we are not mass hiring. We’re building a small, high-conviction team, and we protect our culture hard.If you’re a Gen Z, fresh grad, uni student, or early career switcher who wants an entrepreneurial journey with mentorship, best practices, meaningful tools, and a team that wins together, reach out.If you’re only here for quick money… this won’t be a good fit.
