Jay’s Startup Kitchen offers Syrian food catering made with the exotic flavours and recipes from Syria. Who’s Jay? In 2014 I arrived in the Netherlands as a refugee. I immediately realised that I had to take matters into my own hands to integrate and rebuild my life here. Having many years of entrepreneurial experience I bundled this with my passion for food and created Jay’s Startup Kitchen to be in control of my future and help out other refugees do the same. Not only other refugees work and learn from the day to day business, Jay’s Startup Kitchen is also a platform and business incubator helping refugees explore the possibilities of entrepreneurship.
