He is an expert in driving sustained improvements in technical and manufacturing operations, delivering efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability through lean implementation, and operational excellence. Mr. Bapna challenges the status quo, and as a result under his leadership the manufacturing network has continuously improved KPIs while improving yield, reducing cycle times, conversion cost and rejects. In addition to manufacturing, Jay has also managed various aspects of capital projects, over $2B across continents and cultures, which required meeting regulatory requirements of many different agencies. Additionally he has led numerous global functions including EH & S, Real Estate, Security, Brand protection, Energy Conservation, Integrated Facilities Management, Site Engineering and Maintenance, and Portfolio Management which included all activities from product selection, through commercial launch. He was also involved in +$200 Billion of M&A and divestiture. He has consistently been recognized as a builder and motivator of strong multi-functional global teams with employee engagement.
