About Jay Blaise

My name is Jay Blaise, and I am a student at the University of Maryland working towards a Finance and Psychology degree, graduating in the Spring of 2027. My current goal is to pursue a Masters Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology by the Spring of 2029. I have always been interested in Finance since my introduction to the industry at a summer camp I attended in middle school. Learning what finance entailed and the behind the scenes of every business captivated me and brought me to where I am today. With Psychology, I fell in love with the subject after taking AP Psychology in high school. Understanding how the brain works and how multiple individuals can react to the same situation in different and innovative ways pushed me to seek a degree in it. I have held positions of leadership in and out of school by being president of my high school's debate club and taking charge during the multiple blackouts at my local grocery store. These occupations have provided me with quick problem solving skills and the value of proper and concise communication.
