In this role, he is responsible for driving sales and education of BlackRock's model portfolios (ETFs, SMA, Alts, Private Equity & Private Credit), bridging the gap between financial advisors and our PM/Strategy teams.The U.S. Wealth Advisory teams distribute BlackRock's active, iShares, separately managed account (SMA), model portfolio and alternatives investment capabilities to wealth management clients and platforms and lead the adoption of BlackRock's portfolio construction and digital wealth technologies by financial advisors. Jay also has the honor of being involved in many efforts across the firm-2024 Keystone Class-Summer intern instructor-Firm Champion (Avantax)-BLK Mentorship Program-Employee Brand Ambassador-SOMOS community OP-COIn 2016, he began at Merrill Lynch where he worked in various roles in their corporate office, ultimately leading to an AVP Financial Solutions Advisor. Jay then joined TD Ameritrade as a Senior Financial Consultant where he worked with TD Ameritrade's ultra high net worth in Center City Philadelphia, winning various top performer awards and constructing portfolios for ultra high net worth clients. Upon TD Ameritrade's acquisition, he returned to Merrill Lynch as a VP Senior Portfolio Advisor where he served as a portfolio manager. Prior to beginning his career in finance, he was a sales executive in other industries.Jay graduated from Rider University with a BSBA (Cum Laude) in Finance, an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) in Business Analytics and an Executive MBA (Management & Strategy) from NYU Stern
